The Busy Days of January

You know, the subject header of this entry could be very similar to Anthony Mingella’s next movie. I mean, it just reeks of Oscar, doesn’t it?

Today represented the busiest day I’ve lived since 2004 began. Assuming that before Monday I was pretty much on vacation, it really isn’t that much of an amazing feat, but I’ll take ’em where I can get ’em.

I had a meeting today at ABC where I was unoffically offered a Producing job on an upcoming pilot. That, of course, all depends on whether or not the Comedy Central show I just started working on today goes longer than a month or not. These are the big questions, don’t you think?

Most importantly is the fact that Celebrity Mole Yucatan premieres tomorrow night at 10pm PST on ABC. Must watch it. Must watch it. Must watch it. Must love it. Must love it. Oh, who cares – it ain’t like they’re paying me any more money if you watch it.

Now that I’m back working on a show, it’s really gonna be a challenge to keep the writing on the side continuing while I’m working longer days out of the home office. But that’s the challenge and how interesting is it that for me, at least, the busier I am, the more I can get done. I guess it’s sort of like, if you take a bite of food…the more you eat, the more you can stomach. But if you don’t eat anything, you hardly ever get hungry.

That makes no sense whatsoever.
