Getting A Star

I am a two-timing blogging whore.

Now that I’m contributing to one or two other blogs while holding down the high-watermark levels of quirky entertainment here on WFME, I may periodically point you towards another piece of writing if I think it’s particularly interesting. (Hell, I wrote it, didn’t I?)

I have a piece up today on LAist about how the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce actually determines which stars get stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. If you’re not sure how that works, it may be an interesting insight into how all of entertainment is really, most often, motivated by cold hard cash.
