He had always wanted to be an artist.
He had taken every art class he could throughout his formative years, learning about the styles of the famous painters, developing his own talent and feeding it with the culture of the world. He would travel to the artistic mega-cities of Paris, Rome and Italy. He would live penniless from month to month, surviving only on his desire to re-create life’s moments on blank canvas. Everything he had aspired to be was at his fingertips.
Last week, his latest “artist’s rendering” of a defendant in a local car-jacking case appeared for .5 seconds on the WKVW evening news.
