Words For Your Enjoyment: More Lost Blogs

May 26th, 2006

It may be enjoyable for you or it may not.

But that being said, who can really fully enjoy words anyway? I mean, sure you can enjoy sentences and paragraphs, but are there really any words worthy of singular enjoyment?

Sure, epiglottis comes to mind as a word I enjoy endlessly…but are there a lot? Nah, probably not.

So, instead of debating the positives and negatives of singularly-enjoyable words, I decided to catch those interested parties up on the wonderful words being printed and brodcasted about my two and a half week old book The Lost Blogs. Click through to catch a recap of some wonderful press.

An Assembly Line of Words

May 19th, 2006

Just off the assembly line is the June edition of Wired Magazine, which features my latest “yarn” entitled Introducing…the 2006 Pixar!

Plus, I pull back the curtain of secrecy on some of the really cool hidden “inside jokes” the folks at Pixar have poured into the gas tank of their next digital marvel.

You can check out a scan of the article here.

The piece I shot in NYC for MSNBC airs today on the show The Most with Alison Stewart. It airs from 3-4pm Eastern but check your listings for what time it airs in your area. The piece about The Lost Blogs should air sometime in the 2nd half hour of the show.

Forgive me for anything inflammatory I might have said about you and your blog.

Update: The video of the interview is now available online here.

On May 8th, 1981 I found myself watching Saturday morning cartoons and had just finished eating three bowls of Lucky Charms. My bladder was full and so I went into the bathroom to take care of some business. While there, I slipped and fell on a puddle, slamming my head into the sink fixture and blacking out. When I came to, I was overwhelmed with an idea to invent a way for the world to communicate by words electronically. It would later be called an Internet weblog.

But since I never really followed through on that idea, my new book The Lost Blogs will have to do instead.
