Enough With The Chips

January 1st, 2006

Seriously, enough with the chips.

With New Year’s Day upon us, and football games and barbecues and gatherings by the millions taking place all across the World… With gatherings and parties and lots and lots of food being consumed… With supermarkets filled with people all slapping down their hard-earned cash for food to feed said referenced gathering and party attenders…

Can’t we at least say enough is enough with the chips?

Chips were popular in the 80’s. Do you remember? Dorito’s Nacho and Cool Ranch chips were the Rat Pack of the chip world, selling more than any old bag of silly salty potato chips and ushering in a new era of chip manufacturing — which brought us some of the most quirky flavors and types.

The WFME Holiday Party

December 16th, 2005

Welcome to the WFME Holiday Party 2006.

After already attending a slew of holiday parties this season, with more on the way, I got to thinking that blogs and their communities should not be locked out in the digital snow while everyone else warmed up inside with a spiked cup of egg nog. Why not create an online, blog-centric holiday party for all to attend?

And so the reality of a WFME Holiday party became a…virtual reality.

More Words on Princes

July 11th, 2005

Last night was the premiere party for FOX’s Princes of Malibu, which was held at David Foster’s luxurious “Casablanca” estate in Malibu — it was a great little shindig with a huge screen setup on the lawn, celebrities, free grub, and Guess handing out gift bags since the boys are now official models for the company…

They had the usual In N’ Out Burger (a Southern California favorite) and a Coffee Bean truck there all setup for non-stop FOX freebies — and everyone was downing as much free food as they could possibly handle while waiting for The Simpsons to end so they could get down to business and watch the show.

The Flaw In Underwater Tea Parties

July 5th, 2005

There’s a huge problem infecting this country, and no one is talking about it.

Underwater tea parties (also referred to as ‘globule passing’ and ‘drinking down unda’) have been with us as long as there have been big areas of water for us to swim in. Children jump into pools with wanton abandon, simply yelling “Let’s have an underwater tea party!” and then jumping in. Adults, wanting to relive their childhood, simply say “Let’s revisit that wonderful underwater portion of our youth.”

Words To Make Them Lose Their Mind

January 3rd, 2005

I’m no stranger to driving people crazy. But, specifically, I’m no stranger to making people think they’re crazy with a simple little game I like to play at loud, busy parties.

Step #1: Find a party.

Step #2: Attend said party.

Step #3: Find a party-goer.

Step #4: Approach said party-goer.

Step #5: Say “hey.”

Step #6: Begin a conversation with said party-goer who you’ve just said “hey” to.

Step #7: Now this is where the true game begins. You’re going to say a sentence to this party-goer and make only one word make sense. The rest has to be gibberish. For example:

“Blagua hasaminta hu kannie telephone
