Celebrities Are Just Like You and Me, Vol. 2

April 18th, 2007

It seems that the more I live in Los Angeles, the more I realize that celebrities are just like you and me.

Perhaps it was hearing about how Jessica Biel loves to eat an entire package of Oreo’s without pausing to breathe at all. Or the fact that Tori Spelling loves to eat the hardened top of pudding and nothing else. Or that William Shatner, while working on the set of ABC’s Boston Legal enjoys loosening the screws on his fellow cast member’s director’s chairs and watching as they collapse to the ground when they sit on them.

The stories are endless, but the reality is finite: this week’s sightings prove that celebrities are just like you and me.

Jennifer Garner’s Freaky Toe

April 19th, 2004

Although Jennifer Garner is a cute girl, an endearing actress and kicks some major ass on Alias, she sure has one big flaw. A flaw, that up until now, no one in any major media outlet has noticed. She has one damn weird freaky toe. Take a look at her right foot’s pinky-toe in Exhibits A, B and C.

Exhibit A and Exhibit B are photos taken on the set of Garner’s latest movie, 13 Going On 30. Exhibit C is from the actual webpage of the movie, and you can plainly see that the Power Brokers in Hollywood have doctored Garner’s freaky-ass toe. They don’t want you to know that America’s latest sweetheart has a deformity.

I Am Jaded

April 18th, 2004

So I saw 13 Going on 30 tonight.

First let me start off by saying, the 80’s are alive and well in 30 somethings’ movies. Second, let me say that Jennifer Garner is adorable but contrary to what Extra and Access Hollywood and the rest of the media says, she is not the next Julia Roberts. Third, I am one huge jaded writer who can’t enjoy a movie anymore.

Don’t get me wrong. I love going to the movies. I love to get there early (which some people can’t stand) so I can get in line somewhere near the front, get my exact middle seats and sit there for an hour playing “The Movie Game.” I love opening night. I love when people shout out ridiculous things amidst the excitement, as the movie starts, causing raucous laughter. I love trailers and a full house where everyone reacts.
