Look At It As A Vacation From Your Vacation

First rule of coming back from a proposed redesign? You don’t talk about the proposed redesign.
Second rule of coming back from a proposed redesign in which comments were shut down prior to aforementioned proposed redesign but then the blog came back without a new look and comments re-applied? You don’t talk about the aforementioned redesign and/or the comments coming back.
It’s a long story and something I’ll get into when I can.
But in the meantime, if any of you are still out there — you may rejoice or mutter curses under your breath. Words For My Enjoyment has returned. Has it returned to it’s full power of days gone by? A full every day posting schedule for all to enjoy? Maybe, maybe not. That remains to be seen.
But what is for sure is the posts are a comin’.

Well I’m glad you’re back… in whatever capacity… because I don’t think that the design (while nice) is the real reason people come here every day…

Wow, what a treat! You’re back and we even get to comment and everything. I know I’m breaking the rules but listen, I love the 2.0 design. I really do.
Also, I told you the peeps still love you!
Finally, who cares if you blog every day. Who has the time anyway! You shouldn’t feel pressured to comment on our comments either. I mean, haven’t you already given us so much? (Where have I heard that?)

What a relief to be able to leave comments once more. I have a whole backlog of comments, like: “that was funny,” “I didn’t expect that,” “a fine etymological overview,” and “I like cheese.” The trouble is, I’ve lost track of where I was going to put them. And then I was going to write something about the dearth of quality dramatic literature exploring the theme of splinters, but well, I guess I’ll have to hold back.
