Coloring Words
December 23rd, 2006

Somebody should swing by their local newsstand.
That’s because the January edition of Wired Magazine is on stands now, and features another back-page “Found: Artifacts From the Future” piece by yours truly. This month, I postulate what the crayons of the future might be like, which include everything from the global warming-inspired “Brown Sky” to the fad-tastic “iPod White.”
You can check out a scan of the article (which never replaces buying the actual thing) here.

That’s awesome. When I bought the magazine (I’ve been a subscriber for a while), I saw your name in there and I said, “Hey! I know that guy…well, sort of.” What a great job, I loved it.

“Steampunk copper” sounds like the name of an emo band. Heh…

I saw this and said to myself, is this the same Paul Davidson from USAToday?
The only name I couldn’t really see was whatever color you had representing black.

Le M.Sto totally showed me this in her issue of Wired before I had a chance to hear it from you. That makes you way famous at my house.
Anyway, I was HALO-ing in Ninja-style to say,
… Happy Holidays!
(But I totally ended up saying more.)
