I love suggestion #5! It will surely encourage the voting public to do their research beforehand and create a list, like I would do to save time if I didn’t vote by absentee ballot, of everything on the ballot and what their vote is going to be.

And I wholeheartedly agree with The Centaur’s suggestion. But how about this: in addition to the piece of junk mail, the voicemail and the dinner-time call for each vote received, each candidate should also have a sign stuck in their front lawn and a bumper sticker slapped on their car for each vote.

How bout this? For each vote received, that candidate is sent one piece of junk mail, gets one annoying voicemail, and receives an auto-dialed call during dinner time.

Over time, this should help reduce the headaches forced upon the populace during election seasons…

Right again Paul, we need some action! How ’bout some NASCARs zooming around, a gift bag like the ones celebs get when they are Oscar presenters, and for heavens sakes, make voting into a reality TV show already!
