Demand My Words

June 25th, 2006

Did you want me to come to your city and speak and discuss my new book The Lost Blogs while signing your book and making you laugh…but it just didn’t happen?

Maybe I didn’t know you wanted me there.

That’s why I’ve set up a page over at Eventful where you can “demand my words” in your hometown. All you have to do is click on the glorious “demand it” button above, enter your city, and when the groundswell becomes hard to ignore…I’ll show up.

Seriously. I totally will. Try me.

Okay… you are officially in demand in Little Rock! :) My hometown is wayyyy to small, but I would gladly drive 2 hours to see you!

Awww, man… you have to sign up for an account??

Can’t I just demand that you show up in Seattle here in the comments?

Dave2, you don’t have to sign up for an account if someone’s already started a Seattle demand (just need to specify an email address). But if a demand in a particular city doesn’t already exist, yeah, you need an Eventful account to start the Seattle one. The account is free, takes about 5 seconds to register, and so it’s pretty painless.

By the way I just started the San Diego demand for Paul.

can we also demand that you go to places we don’t live? i don’t mean like demanding that you go to hell, but maybe to places where my grandma lives so that she might enjoy your words. can i make a more general demand that you appear all over the united states (and asia)?
