Subject Line Here
June 13th, 2006

Does it scare you more than it scares me that all these bloggers have headshots?
While you debate that fact, I’ll just give you a friendly reminder here that the above eight people will be performing this Friday at Improv Olympic in Subject Line Here to benefit a worthwhile charity.
If you’re in Los Angeles, plan on being here, or have one of those personal private corporate jets always gassed up and ready to take you anywhere, swing on by this Friday night. These talented bloggers will be reading their favorite blog entries on stage, in front of a live audience…and without a net whatsoever.

It didn’t scare me, but I did find it a bit odd.

No, but I find that “microphone” graphic rather disturbing.
Comment by Jane — June 13, 2006 @ 6:06 pm
So let me see…only happy females show their pearly whites in a headshot. LOL.
At least you give a little tilt of the head, sly smile…and some dimple action.
Comment by Christie — June 13, 2006 @ 7:31 pm
Christie - All about the dimples.
Comment by Pauly D — June 13, 2006 @ 8:11 pm
Without a net whatsoever? Do you intend to do acrobatics together?
Comment by Neil — June 13, 2006 @ 9:12 pm
it has to be happening in LA because you all have headshots and you are all so pretty. have fun!

“Sound off on just about EVERYTHING??”
Which one of you will be discussing how we might overcome the inherent problem of containing the excessively high molecular activity associated with fusion plasma energy when used within the confines of our current technology, and what options are our best bet for overcoming them?
And will you be accepting questions from the audience?
Comment by Dave2 — June 13, 2006 @ 9:52 pm
And Paul’s favorite entry is…..
drumroll…
/crickets.
Paul? I can’t make it.
Comment by Janet — June 13, 2006 @ 11:23 pm
Do all bloggers look alike?
Comment by Syd — June 14, 2006 @ 3:15 am
Wow, I was looking at those pictures and thinking “how odd, that in the somewhat indie-by-nature world of blogging we would find such glamorous people with professional photographs doing a blog related event.”
And then I read the caption, and yes, it does scare me a little.
But if I had one of those jets, I would totally be there. There should be an Eventful link set up somewhere to demand that this group tours some other cities, like Philadelphia, for example. See Wil’s page for examples.

Dave - I don’t know what you said just there, but I will definitely be covering that in my performance of, “I will answer any question you have.”
Janet - I can’t believe you can’t make it. You are SO not dedicated like you said you were.
Syd - Do we?
Comment by Pauly D — June 14, 2006 @ 6:07 am
Do we get IDs on all of them? I know Wil, Jessica, Shane, AJ (I don’t know him, but he’s the only guy left in the list after I ID the rest of them), and you.
Who are the other three women?
Comment by Kevin — June 14, 2006 @ 7:15 am
Kevin: Ask and ye shall receive.
(Top Row, L to R): Colleen Wainwright, Wil Wheaton, Jessica Stover, Shane Nickerson.
(Bottom Row, L to R): AJ Gentile, Annie Sertich, Paul Davidson, Carly Milne.

I don’t know whether it scares me more than it scares you, because you don’t tell us how much it scares you! On a scale of one to ten, it scares me about 6; after all, it isn’t really life-threatening, but still a bit creepy…
Does that answer your question?
Comment by Merel — June 14, 2006 @ 11:27 am
Before I got to anything you had written I looked over the pictures and thought, “Wow, how LA. They’re all great looking and they all have professional headshots.”
Then I read the first line of your post and laughed so hard I hurt myself.
Comment by Rabbit — June 14, 2006 @ 3:27 pm
Funny thing is that I read Carly’s blog every day. I just never knew what she looked like.
Comment by Kevin — June 16, 2006 @ 10:42 am
Kevin - You’re hilarious. Just you try to convince us that you didn’t look at the ABOUT page on Carly’s site. You know you did. This was such a bad bit of acting on your part.
Comment by Pauly D — June 16, 2006 @ 11:00 am
In my defense, it’s so not a headshot. It was a picture for the back of my book that I was goaded into putting on the site. I’m a writer-not-actor type - no headshots for this chickie.
P.S. - Paul is afraid of my Viking helmet.
Comment by Carly — June 16, 2006 @ 5:23 pm
I’m just awestruck that you made Defamer. WOW.
Comment by Belinda — June 16, 2006 @ 11:35 pm
Carly - I was afraid of your Viking helmet but then you showed up without your Viking helmet and so I really wasn’t afraid any more of your Viking helmet.
I bet you don’t even HAVE one.
In fact, I challenge you to show a picture of yourself WEARING a Viking helmet and if you can’t produce such a thing, well, then I’ll know the truth here.
