Bay Area Words
June 8th, 2006
I am in the San Francisco Bay Area today as I will be doing a signing/reading for The Lost Blogs at the Barnes & Noble in Walnut Creek at 7:30pm.
Despite the fact that Walnut Creek may make you think about Little House on the Prairie and that childhood fear that someone with a head of hair as dense as Michael Landon might give you a “whooping” — if you live in the area and want to swing out, we’ll work through your trauma together.
—
In other news, Words For Your Enjoyment returns tomorrow — that’s where you submit an idea for a post and I fashion it into a singing, dancing, over-the-top experience while giving you credit at the same time. Why not throw something at the wall and see if it sticks?

Have fun tonight!

BSTS - Canada? Hmm. They have book stores there?
ACG - TBD on the Northeast signings. Depends how well the book continues to do.

Shout out for the WC! I wish I could check it out, but we’re heading out of town. Good luck!

Um, like that’s totally Walnut Grove on LHOTP. Duh. Go Half-Pint, Blind Mary, and Lindsay/Sydney Greenbush, who but for accident of birth, could have been the Oleson Twins of their generation. Which was ironic, given the fact that the Oleson kids on LHOTP were the nemeses of the Ingalls kids.

Pauly D! I totally would have loved to come to the signing if I’d managed to get to your blog (and therefore, know about it) before now! Look! It’s making me use exclamations! Again! AHHH!

I actually dated a guy who thought he was a CIA operative that lived in Walnut Creek.

If I had only kept up with your schedule I would’ve told my friends to stalk you at your signing.
Oh “The Creek.”
Oh the memories that I would rather forget of that place.

I brokered a lot of Nissans thru Walnut Creek Nissan. If you happen to want to buy a car, go in there and tell em I said to give you a good deal.

Sandra - DOH! I wish you had known, would have loved to have seen you there. Oh well.
RD - The Creek. I’m talking to McG about turning that into a new show when The O.C. is cancelled.
Adri - Noted.

that means i gotta buy a copy, huh?
Comment by ACG — June 9, 2006 @ 1:02 pm
ACG - I am not going to even ask you if you currently have a copy. You should just go out and get one ASAP.
To Everyone Else Who Came Out Last Night - Thanks for coming by! It was a huge success. Out of the 63 copies the B&N had in stock, we sold 55 copies. That left 8 stock-signed copies for the general public! W00T!
Comment by Pauly D — June 9, 2006 @ 1:29 pm
that means only 8 left to auction on ebay
