Intro, Podcast, Intro
May 21st, 2006
Having come to a significant turning point in the world of podcasting, I use this new audio opportunity to debate between a slew of new podcast intros and try to decide which one is worthy of WFME.
Maybe even you can help by listening to it here.

Looks like a big file!
I like #1, 5, but my cat likes #6.

Uhhh… is it a bad thing that I prefer the original to any of them?
I don’t even want to know what was going on during the recording of #6… it makes me want to smoke a cigarette after I’m done listening to it.

1 and 5 all the way. I could use a hardier laugh from the audience after “podcast” though.

Yeah, I have dial-up so I don’t do podcasts. Never heard a one. Can’t you do me a favor and just directly upload them to my brain?

Karl - Just laugh out loud a few times. There. Now you’ve simulated listening to this podcast.

Honestly, I would have to tentatively vote for #4 when those weasels or whatever forest-y rodents were attacking you. My second choice tentatively titled, choice number two, would honestly be #5, laughing at letters. Although you really must include the word “JUBILEE” in any intro that you finally select. Honestly.

Podcast! Hmmffh! I will only listen if you tell me how I can do it on my MP3 player which is not an ipod. Okay, so, I’ll probably listen anyhow but I’d really like to know so I can listen to these things at work. I need something to distract me.
P.S. Congrats on the new book. I look forward to reading it soon.

I vote for Mambo #5. I mean, uh, Intro #5. I think that hearing the joy of laughter brought about by letters really captures the mood and theme of your podcast installments.
All the best!

The longest Podcast ever!
After intermittently dozing and waking, it was #6 that finally caught my attention … until *cough* broke my reverie.
I’m with Dave2 … “If it’s not broken …”

I played the devil intro backward. It said something weird about “lime juice” and then gave me the combination to your gym locker.
I mean who uses 6-6-6 as a combination?

Damn, I was on vacation when this came out, so is voting closed? Anyway….
#2 might be devilish, but it sounded like a monkey was in there too. Are you saying something?
#6 ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
hmmmmm.. sounds like from Podcast #10, you already picked the winner. Oh well, I can always listen to this one over and over again.
