Mr. Six Revealed! (Part 2)

The floodgates continue to open.

Yesterday’s announcement here on WFME as to the true identity of Mr. Six (Danny Teeson) has inspired others to go digging, including Mark Evanier who uncovered an actual reference to Teeson’s name on the Professional Vision Care & F/X website (they do vision props for TV/Film and commercials).

I put in a call to the company, Professional Vision Care Associates this morning to confirm this information.

While I cannot say who I talked to or what they said — I can inform you that Six Flags did have the company take Teeson’s name off the website months ago without realizing that Google would have already had a cache of the page. And while I will not address whether or not Six Flags was annoyed that his name had originally been put on the credit list of the company, I will say that this confirms 100% that Danny Teeson is in fact the real Mr. Six.

Six Flags did not return any of my calls and would not confirm or deny this information.

It’s this type of hard-hitting investigative journalism that shows us that you, Pauly, are truly dedicated to your craft. There are a plethora of awards in your future — I can FEEL it!!

Wow. I stand in awe of you. (Well, actually, I’m sitting in awe. Well, technically, I’m sitting in a chair at my desk. But it’s a chair of awe. Really.)

AL – It’s almost TOO good, the fact that this company actually went and removed his name from the list in the last day or so, most likely because Six Flags didn’t want there to be confirmation that he was the guy. Too good.

    Watch out Smoking Gun!

I don’t really care who Mr. Six is, but please don’t go outing who played “The Voice” in “Field of Dreams”… I don’t think I could take that.

  5. Pauly D - February 3, 2006 at 9:47 am -

Dave – The voice from Field of Dreams was revealed like, um, years ago. It’s Carrot Top. Seriously. You know, when most people whisper, you can’t really tell who they are.

  6. […] (Update: Even more evidence has surfaced confirming this 100%.) […]

That makes no sense at all. Why would they hire a carrot to play corn? He’s not that good of an actor.

  8. monkeyinabox - February 3, 2006 at 2:28 pm -

    What about green beans?

  9. Pauly D - February 3, 2006 at 2:33 pm -

Yeah, Dave. What about green beans, like the monkey says?

  10. Dave2 - February 3, 2006 at 3:08 pm -

Green beans could so totally play corn… it’s not even funny.

  11. Dave2 - February 3, 2006 at 3:10 pm -

I sincerely doubt, however, that Carrot Top is capable of playing any other form of vegetable. ESPECIALLY green beans.

    Perhaps a squash.

The identity of the actor/dancer playing Mr. Six is one thing, but the INSPIRATION for Mr. Six is another, and I happened upon that secret last week just by accident… which just goes to show you (given the timing of your own scoop) that there are no accidents. Ready? He’s in the Luc Besson movie, THE FIFTH ELEMENT, with Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich. Mr. Six is waiting in line to board the spaceship when Bruce and Milla rush by (On their way to saving the world, of course). Jean-Paul Gaultier designed the movie, with help from Moebius and another famous French comic-book artist… hey, this is startting to sound a bit like “The Da Vinci Code!”

  13. […] You may remember last week when WFME revealed the true identity of Mr. Six and confirmed it like a big boy blog. […]

So why all the secrets about his identity ANYWAY???!

Check out personal info on Danny Teeson at It says he was Mr. Six

I am sorry to say that your results are totally wrong concerning the identity
of Mr Six . Please watch videos of Danny Teeson
(available on You Tube) and compare. Teeson is “bigger”
considerably taller and has a longer neck. Look very carefully at Mr
Six’s height and build . You must ask yourself how tall is Mr Six
compared to the height of the bus etc(?)
Teeson might have appeared as Mr Six elsewhere but definitely not in
the original commercial . Six Flags has not confirmed your result and
    neither has Danny Teeson.
Others on the web have blindly copied out your conclusions..

Clue–He was a well known (American) Broadway performer. (‘That
“performer” needed five hours of makeup. to become Mr Six.)

The Web, meanwhile, brandishes false information yet it was amusing
to read this blog and to see how wrong you were.
