Mr. Six Revealed! (Part 2)

February 3rd, 2006

The floodgates continue to open.

Yesterday’s announcement here on WFME as to the true identity of Mr. Six (Danny Teeson) has inspired others to go digging, including Mark Evanier who uncovered an actual reference to Teeson’s name on the Professional Vision Care & F/X website (they do vision props for TV/Film and commercials).

I put in a call to the company, Professional Vision Care Associates this morning to confirm this information.

While I cannot say who I talked to or what they said — I can inform you that Six Flags did have the company take Teeson’s name off the website months ago without realizing that Google would have already had a cache of the page. And while I will not address whether or not Six Flags was annoyed that his name had originally been put on the credit list of the company, I will say that this confirms 100% that Danny Teeson is in fact the real Mr. Six.

Six Flags did not return any of my calls and would not confirm or deny this information.

It’s this type of hard-hitting investigative journalism that shows us that you, Pauly, are truly dedicated to your craft. There are a plethora of awards in your future — I can FEEL it!!

Wow. I stand in awe of you. (Well, actually, I’m sitting in awe. Well, technically, I’m sitting in a chair at my desk. But it’s a chair of awe. Really.)

AL - It’s almost TOO good, the fact that this company actually went and removed his name from the list in the last day or so, most likely because Six Flags didn’t want there to be confirmation that he was the guy. Too good.

    Watch out Smoking Gun!

I don’t really care who Mr. Six is, but please don’t go outing who played “The Voice” in “Field of Dreams”… I don’t think I could take that.

Dave - The voice from Field of Dreams was revealed like, um, years ago. It’s Carrot Top. Seriously. You know, when most people whisper, you can’t really tell who they are.

    GAAAAHHH!

That makes no sense at all. Why would they hire a carrot to play corn? He’s not that good of an actor.

  7. Gravatar

    What about green beans?

  8. Gravatar

Yeah, Dave. What about green beans, like the monkey says?

  9. Gravatar

Green beans could so totally play corn… it’s not even funny.

I sincerely doubt, however, that Carrot Top is capable of playing any other form of vegetable. ESPECIALLY green beans.

    Perhaps a squash.

The identity of the actor/dancer playing Mr. Six is one thing, but the INSPIRATION for Mr. Six is another, and I happened upon that secret last week just by accident… which just goes to show you (given the timing of your own scoop) that there are no accidents. Ready? He’s in the Luc Besson movie, THE FIFTH ELEMENT, with Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich. Mr. Six is waiting in line to board the spaceship when Bruce and Milla rush by (On their way to saving the world, of course). Jean-Paul Gaultier designed the movie, with help from Moebius and another famous French comic-book artist… hey, this is startting to sound a bit like “The Da Vinci Code!”

So why all the secrets about his identity ANYWAY???!

Check out personal info on Danny Teeson at http://www.imdb.com. It says he was Mr. Six
