Today’s Thoughts While Balancing My Checkbook
October 1st, 2005
I don’t think it should be called “carrying the one.”
How about:
one-tossing
flipping the “1″
giving the “1″ a vacation from another part of town
one-ing upping
separating the “1″ from the herd
won a “1″
we don’t need no stinkin’ 1’s
i like 9 just fine
giving the “1″ an attitude adjustment
fun-y’one (pronounced “fun-yon”)

I, personally, like “kicking one’s ass,” “poor one’s-manship,” and “tossing one’s lunch.”

fun-y’one? like those gross quasi-onion snacks?

HUH?
A one in the decimal column is worth ten in the singular column.
One Upmanship.

i think it would depend on my mood. if i was feeling particularly cantankerous i would go with “flipping the ‘1′” or a bit sassy, i’d go with “one tossing”.
funny psd, funny.

only you, my friend, would think of other words for “carrying the one,” and that’s what I like about you!

poor 1… one is the loneliest number, you know. give it a break. why do we have to always be separating it from the rest anyway?
