Three words: Box office gold!

In creating the giant laser beam would it be possible to add some sort of speaker system that would play light-hearted, upbeat music?

You must be tapping into my phone conversations, Dave.

I just was pitching a movie called They Crumble And Fall about a young out of work geologist who stumbles upon a huge disaster about to befall the country. That disaster? Hundreds of blocks of varying shapes (made out of limestone and asteriod rock) are flinging towards Earth at crazy speeds. Some of them, especially the ones in the shape of an "L" are as big as Texas.

The protagonist (our geologist) works with the government to create a laser beam that can move and rotate said blocks so they can be deposited evenly on the Earth instead of crashing and causing destruction.

I'm still working on it in my head, but there you go.

If there is one video game that needs to be turned into a movie it's Tetris. I don't know what it would be about but I bet it would be addictive.

I don't speak American. I googled "P-shaw" but I'm still not sure what it means.

Is it like, "P-Shaw!! That is so totally awesome!" It must mean that because Tomb Raider II expanded on the nuanced plotline laid down by the first film while still maintaining originality and zest we've come to expect from video-game based movies.

I could so review stuff for a living.

Pierce -- I didn't see the ENTIRE movie, but I got to see enough of it to be able to write about it. And no, they didn't even drive me to the studio, I had to drive there myself.

But I did wear a beret with a cool laminated card pinned to the front that said PRESS.

Did you get to see the movie? Did they fly you to Hollywood, or drive you since you live there, to see one of those critics only showings? Did you wear a jaunty cap with a "Press" tag sticking out of the band?

I just hope the movie is as good as Tomb Raider II. And with the deep and involving storyline Doom's got going on, how could they go wrong? Character development, here we come!
