I’m looking into getting one of those USB labelmakers so I can use different fonts and graphics ON THE SAME LABEL. I have to stop typing now: starting to get all quavery.

the fax guy? faxing is practically obsolete! he would be signing (labeling) his own death certificate. at least labelmaking is entertaining. the parking code guy, though, could be quite useful. how about the automated phone guy?

Why would one have to label there files? I keep track on mine by the different coke/food stains that are on them.

I’ve given up on trying to figure out how to make labels for my files. Everyone else in the office has files with pretty labels, my files are the ones with the illegible handwritten scrawls on the tabs.

At one of my previous jobs I deliberately hid the labelmaker so the individual in question would stop posting labels on everything he saw including cutesy labels like “the wall”, “my monitor”, or “stop making mistakes”. Yeah it was funny for a while, but it got old pretty quick. He almost withered in his despair and my boss made me give it back.

If you thought Scientology was bad — the curse of the Labelmaker society is worse because no one truly knows how deep it goes. And it’s true — if you know the Labelmaker, he or she will get you a Labelmaker for a present to try and drag you in.

Weirdly enough, if someone were to give you the Book of Mormon for Christmas you might be taken aback. But labelmakers? No one puts two and two together.

a close co-worker of mine is definitely the Labelmaker of my school. he must have thought i was impressed by this talent because he bought me a labelmaker for Christmas last year. he wanted me to be one of them. it was a really weird moment. incredibly awkward.
