Traveling Words
June 16th, 2005

WFME finds itself leaving Boston today and heading to the lush green pastures of Connecticut where we (me) hope to find the elusive Dairy Queen that is not combined with a El Pollo Loco.
We can only hope the reality meets expectations.
In other news, I’d like to personally announce (once and for all) that no matter what anyone says… No matter what the textbooks write… No matter what your English teacher might have taught you…
“Traveling” is not how you should spell “travelling.”
Two L’s. It should really be two L’s.

In additionally other news, I had the opportunity to catch Batman Begins yesterday, and in an attempt to not give away anything about the “pretty good flick” I will just say that Christian Bale has got some gnarly teeth going on there. So much so, that I think he’d make a perfect couple with you know who.

Ah the perfect teeth thing. That explains a lot doesn’t it? Or at least one major mystery on the public consciousness these days. Let me explain:
– Christian Bale has perfect teeth.
– Who is in the movie with him? Katie Holmes.
– Tom Cruise ALSO has perfect teeth, perhaps even more perfect than anyone else’s.
– Katie obviously couldn’t have Christian, and went for Tom as a replacement!
It’s all underscored by her “rejection” of Christian being played out in an embrace of Scientology!

Gnarly teeth, much like gnarly feet…such a turn-off! And I recogize that sign! I’ve taken the “T” to Fenway.

Now, Paul, tell me something about this “Two L’s” dogma of yours. Does the same principle apply to the word “cancel”?

I was in CA for 4 weeks, and not once did I see a combination El Pollo Loco (quite possibly the worst Mexican ever) and Dairy Queen establishment. If you want DQ by itself, visit Iowa, Pauly D.
