I worked in a grocery store for a while and that scene is all to familiar. Of course you would get the “young punks” just trying to steal stuff, but every now and then a regular shopper would get busted. I remember this one older lady who did that. Was a regular shopper and then one night BAM! busted! It was like “Grandma did what?” Maybe it’s the “I spent a lot here, so they owe me a little” mentality. I don’t know.

And I thought getting caught with that case of Preparation H was embarressing! Um, OK, maybe it was….but at least, there were no kids watching.
