Regina Spektor In Da House
August 18th, 2004

You may remember my previous post about Regina Spektor — a spectacular singer whose most recent album “Soviet Kitsch” blew me away.
Of course, the album was only available via an independent online music retailer, and by the time people read the post, the album was going going gone.
Good news. As of yesterday, Regina’s album is now available in digital form via the Apple iTunes Music Store. So, if you haven’t heard her before go click through to the previous post about her and click on the MP3 link to hear her song, “Us”. If you have, but you couldn’t snag her CD — go to iTunes Music Store now and download that baby! It’ll be worth it.
In other news — I’ll be posting an interview I conducted with Regina Spektor here on WFME in the next few days.

It’s a good song, I really like the strings.

Similar thing happened to me. I am the owner/producer of an online ‘zine (for lack of a better word) featuring women in music. I’ve been touting Regina for years, but when I put up my review of this CD, within a day or two CD Baby was sold out (it’s now gone). Her page gets more hits than almost any other on my site. But I heard that she got major distribution (?) you can also buy on Amazon. I’m so glad you posted this, and am glad she’s finally getting the kudos she so richly deserves!
Oh and her other two CDs are great as well.
