Today’s Mind Blowing Discussion About The Universe

The Universe is infinite. If you speed away from planet Earth and go one direction you will continue to go one direction forever and ever and ever and ever; never seeing something a second time. But really, how can that be?
The Universe is finite. If you speed away from planet Earth and go one direction you will eventually reach the end and find yourself back where you began; a neverending circular ribbon of time. But really, then what’s on the other side of that ‘end’?
Every time I have this debate with my inner-self, my head is about to implode, explode and my eyes are about to suck back into my head like the time they were there before I was born.
Maybe I should just turn on The Jerry Springer Show.
it seems to me that your head should have exploded long ago and hasn’t. so, either your living on borrowed time or your head is like the universe, expansive & vacuous. or perhaps you have a head not unlike the tardis, much larger on the outside than the inside.

It’s easy to comprehend. Just try to explain the concept of time to an animal. Can’t be done. Not because the concept of time doesn’t exist, but rather the animal has no capacity to grasp that seemingly simple concept, that otherwise is relatively easy to comprehend. Like an animal, some try to apply the logic and experience of their little mind against a concept that does not work by the same rules as the square footage of their own back yard. For instance, what makes you think that there is supposed to be anything on the “other end”? Just because your backyard has borders that are only symbolic, by the way, doesn’t mean you can now apply the same physics to everything in the Universe, including itself. The truth, by its very nature, is that something like the Universe can not be compared to anything else but itself, so therein lies the eternal paradox of your thinking. Escher proved in his work long ago, that the fact that something could not physically exist, doesn’t change the fact that it in fact does, starring at you from the page, and laughing. Look for other tools to use your mind, and evolve, my friend.
