I squash those suckers the minute I see them (well, after I get a paper towel or a piece of paper to protect my hand or foot from spider guts!). I’ve heard too many horror stories about spiders crawling in ears and mouths while people are sleeping, and I know I sleep with my my mouth open!

paul, where the hell do you live? the woods?

if i see the occasional spider and if i have something to pick it up on (paper bag, cardboard), i put it outside. some old wives tale about killing a spider in your home being bad luck has been ingrained into my psyche. if i can’t catch it i kill the little mutha before it kills me. i found out i’m allergic to spider bites in ’97 when one almost landed me in the hospital.
